A Neighbourhood Plan is created by local people to reflect their priorities in their community. It’s a document setting out planning policies for a specific area, which are then used to decide whether to approve future planning applications.
As well as establishing a vision for a local area, a Neighbourhood Plan can also:
- Influence where business premises are built;
- make sure local needs are met in new housing developments; and
- preserve local green spaces and areas of countryside.

I think it is fair to say that without your advice and guidance, we would still ploughing our way through masses of data, and dreaming of getting to Reg. 14 consultation never mind actually having a plan submitted to TWC. Would you pass on our thanks to the ladies who loaded our survey data into the analysis software, helping to produce a report in what seemed like record time. David Shaw, Lilleshall Neighbourhood Plan
A huge thank you to you and your team for the production of such a fantastic piece of work. As you say it will take some unpicking but what it does do is give us a good steer on those priorities that have been identified through the graphs. We intend to invite all of the people who expressed an interest in either being kept informed of the development of the plan, or those who wish to be involved in a particular working group. Thank you again. Eric Garner, Ludlow Town Plan
