The Village SOS campaign is back on the road and its next stop is Shropshire. Working in partnership with Shropshire RCC, Village SOS is bringing an interactive workshop to Bicton Village Hall, Church Lane, Bicton on 26 November 2015 at 2.30pm-5pm. Sign up online here to reserve a place at this event.
This workshop is part of the Village SOS 'community to community' learning network, which sees volunteers from social enterprises across the UK become mentors to share the secrets of their success.
Local communities in Shropshire will have the opportunity to find out more about the Village SOS campaign and the one-to-one support it can offer to those interested in setting up a community project or social enterprise.
The event will be informal, with short talks from Shropshire RCC & the Village SOS Team, Q & A sessions and workshops that aim to give one-to-one hints, tips and advice on setting up a community project. There will also be a chance to hear from previously funded Village SOS projects.
If you would like more information about the Village SOS campaign, you can visit the website: www.villagesos.org.uk or contact the Village SOS Community Manager, Chris Cowcher on 01285 653477 Ext 215..
