Appeal launched for Community Resilience Fund
25th Mar, 2020
Shropshire RCC has launched an urgent appeal to support community groups across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin affected by the coronavirus outbreak and recent floods.
The money raised will go into our Community Resilience Fund (formerly known as the Flood Relief Fund) and given out in grants to groups financially impacted by events caused by COVID-19 and/or flooding.
These groups do so much for communities, and often on incredibly tight budgets, and will be needed more than ever in the aftermath of this unprecedented crisis, and beyond.
If you are able to offer your financial support, you can do so by donating to our appeal here: www.virginmoneygiving.com/fund/shropshirecommunity
