Our AGM will be a bit different this year, taking place remotely via Zoom instead of face-to-face, at 11am on Wednesday 4 November. The date is a significant one for us - it is the 60th anniversary of the very first meeting held of Shropshire RCC, or the Shropshire Council of Social Services as it was known back then.
While we are unable to celebrate this milestone as we would like to, we are still keen to recognise the achievement of the organisation supporting Shropshire communities since 1960. We will also be conducting formal proceedings, giving an overview of 2019/20 and highlighting how we have adapted to the Covid-19 crisis.
All are welcome to attend, simply RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and organisation name (if applicable) or call 01743 360641 and leave a message, including your email address, by Friday 30 October.
We will confirm your booking and you will receive a Zoom link, the 2019 AGM minutes, a link to the digital 2019/20 annual report and 2020 agenda prior to 4 November.
Please note, the constitution of Shropshire RCC allows each member to have one vote at the meeting. If you are a member organisation, one person can be nominated to vote on its behalf. Other members of your organisation are welcome to attend the AGM but may not vote.
