Debra Allcock Tyler, internationally renowned Chief Executive of the Directory of Social Change, will be the guest speaker at Shropshire Rural Communities Charity's Annual General Meeting on November 10th.
Debra is passionate about the role and health of small charities and was the founding Trustee of the Small Charities Coalition - a national organisation helping small charities access the skills, tools & information they need to get going and do what they do best. She also writes the Last Word column for the Third Sector magazine.
We are delighted that Debra has agreed to talk at our AGM and we are confident that her talk on issues relating to small charities will provide invaluable information to anyone involved in the management of a small charity in Shropshire.
Shropshire RCC's short Annual General Meeting will take place at 2pm on 10th November at Upton Magna Village Hall, and will be followed by the guest speaker. Everyone is welcome to attend, including non-RCC members. Light refreshments will be served with the opportunity to browse the charity's stalls and find out more about our work from staff and volunteers. As this will be during National Trustees Week we will particularly focus on Trustees and launching our plans for supporting the recruitment and training for Trustees from this autumn.
The event is free but booking is required for planning and catering purposes. CLICK HERE TO BOOK
