Award-winning Chamber of Commerce member 7Video has lent support to fellow member and local organisation Shropshire Rural Community Council, to help publicise its valuable charity work throughout the county.
The joint venture began at the charity’s flagship event, the Great Shropshire Bake Off, which attracted over 1300 visitors and 160 entries, staged with celebrity chef Marcus Bean at his Brompton Cookery School, near Shrewsbury, where 7Video were filming.
Elodie Home, fundraiser for Shropshire RCC said: “We were incredibly excited when 7Video offered their skills to help showcase our charity work and they produced some fantastic results from the event depicting competitions and craft activities, together with further footage of RCC staff who co-ordinate and deliver essential services throughout the county.
“The new video manages, in only a minute and a half, to tell people just how much Shropshire RCC does for local people, groups and communities. Our aim is to raise awareness of the effectiveness and possibilities of video within all organisations and help them to harness its power to communicate more creatively and effectively.”
Peter Simms, 7Video director, added: “We were delighted to be able to support Shropshire RCC in their very worthwhile efforts and it was a pleasure to be filming in the glorious surroundings of Brompton Cookery School.”
“The short video will be released on social media channels, together with being utilised for talks, presentations, training and publicity.”
