There are a number of roles available to volunteers with our Hearing Loss Support service. These include visiting people in their own homes or in care homes to provide support and help to enable people to feel confident in using their hearing aids. Some people need regular visits to be able to maintain the effective use of their aids.
Volunteers also help at NHS repair clinics.
Volunteers receive full training and support through NHS Audiology and Shropshire RCC and are often hearing aid users themselves.
