Shropshire RCC has partnered with Wellington-based development consultancy apT to provide a full service of support for the development of a Neighbourhood Plan, including:
Initial scoping - We make sure a Neighbourhood Plan is the right choice for your community and if so, guide you on the first steps.Evidence gathering - We collect, analyse and interpret data in support of your vision, aims, objectives and policies.
Community engagement activities - We help to engage with the local community through public meetings and surveys and assist with the interpretation of results. Consultation Analysis We gather the information from the community consultation and provide a report with recommendations
Neighbourhood Plan production - We working closely with you to produce full plans that conform with your area’s Local Plan, and assist in getting the Neighbourhood Plan to the examination stage and through to adoption.
The local authority will pay for a number of costs associated with the development of a Neighbourhood Plan, including the running of the community referendum. There are sources of funding available to cover other costs, which we can advise you on.
