Equipment Loan Service

 

A service for community groups and voluntary organisations throughout Shropshire

 

The Equipment Loan Service is a service provided by the Community Council of Shropshire for all community groups and voluntary organisations throughout Shropshire.

 

A short demonstration on equipment assembly and usage will be given when equipment is collected from the Community Council’s office.

 

Equipment available for hire

 

Display Boards

·                Black Boards (2 sets of 3 boards.  Each board measures 2ft x 3ft – tabletop)

·                Grey and Black Boards (2 set of 3 boards hinged together.  Each board measures 2ft x 3ft -tabletop)

·                Black Boards - NOBO (in carrying case. Two sets of 3 boards hinged together.  Each board measures 2ft x 3ft)

·                Black and Red Boards - NOBO (in carrying case. Two sets of 3 boards hinged together.  Each board measures 2ft x 3ft)

·                Two leaflet holders for use with all display boards

·                Velcro - all display material must be mounted onto the display boards with Velcro, which can be bought on request

 

Public Address System

This consists of 2 microphones, microphone stands and 2 speakers.

It is small and portable but it is not suitable for large or out door events.

 

Overhead Projector and Carrying Case

Supplied with a ‘maintenance kit’ consisting of a screen wipe, spare bulb and spare fuse

 

Two Projection Screens

·        1 ‘tripod screen’ measuring approximately 125cm x 125cm when fully extended                  

·        1 ‘tripod screen’ measuring approximately 150cm x 150cm when fully extended

 

Slide projector

 

Portable Access Ramp

Portable access ramp for use on a step or kerb to assist wheelchair access.

 

Combined Television and Video

 

Flipchart Easels – note pad & pens may be available for a small fee. Please check in advance

 

Induction Loop

Equipment hire in North Shropshire and Oswestry

CCS has partnership agreements with North Shropshire Voluntary Action, The Manse, Doddington Whitchurch, and the Oswestry Memorial Hall, Smithfield Road, Oswestry.

 

Oswestry

The equipment held by Oswestry comprises:

·                a set of display boards

·                overhead projector

·                projection screen

·                extension cable

·                flipchart
